It's easy to fall in love with Fiscardo and Kefalonia - we did many years ago

With a Greek father, and strong family ties to Greece we enjoyed many childhood holidays to the Greek Islands.

Following a family holiday at the Emelisse Hotel, I fell in love with Fiscardo and Kefalonia. I was drawn to its natural beauty, green hills rolling down to the sea and crystal clear turquoise waters. I found it totally relaxing and peaceful - and knew I wanted to be able to return again and again.

After a long search, I found Dorian, set in an unrivalled position beside the sea and with the most stunning views. At the time it was a concrete shell. Attracted to the contemporary style of the Emelisse Hotel, I managed to persuade its designer Sophocles Maraveyas to help me create my dream. With Sophocles’ design skills we have transformed Dorian into a gorgeous home and a separate private apartment that I’m so proud of.
