Our Favourite Places to Eat and Drink Around Fiskardo
One of the many joys of staying in our villa is having the beautiful harbour of Fiskardo just a short walk away. Whether you're looking for a relaxed lunch by the sea, sunset cocktails, or a memorable evening meal, Fiskardo offers an incredible choice of cafés, bars and restaurants. We always enjoy recommending our favourite spots to guests, and over the years we've discovered plenty of places worth returning to time and time again.
For a pre-dinner drink or a leisurely evening, the harbour is the perfect setting. Watching the traditional fishing boats and elegant yachts on the water while the sun sets is one of our favourite Fiskardo experiences. If you're in the mood for cocktails, we highly recommend Theodora's or Le Passage. Both enjoy prime waterfront locations, making them ideal places to relax with a drink and soak up the atmosphere.
If you prefer a lively bar, El Greco is always popular. With its welcoming atmosphere and music into the evening, it's a great place to finish the night after dinner or simply enjoy a few drinks with friends.
One of the reasons guests choose to stay at Dorian luxury villa in Fiscardo is the outstanding selection of restaurants just minutes away. The village offers everything from authentic Greek tavernas to contemporary international dining. Seafood lovers could try Fishkardo, an elegant waterfront restaurant renowned for its beautifully prepared fresh fish and seafood.
No guide to where to eat in Fiskardo would be complete without mentioning Tassia's. As the village's original restaurant, it has become something of a local institution. Known for its traditional recipes, fresh local ingredients and warm hospitality, it's a favourite with both visitors and returning guests.
Among our other personal favourites are Roula's, Irida's, Elli's and Kyma. Each has its own unique character, and we've enjoyed many wonderful meals in all of them. Kyma is particularly appealing if you're looking for something a little different, combining Mediterranean dishes with an impressive sushi menu.
And if you fancy a break from Greek cuisine, Lord Falcon serves great Thai food.
There are also some fantastic restaurants just outside Fiskardo that are well worth exploring during your stay.
Taverna Odysseas at Agia Jerusalem is a favourite for its relaxed atmosphere and wonderful home-cooked Greek food served at lunchtime.
Alati, overlooking beautiful Alaties Beach, is perfect for a long lunch or sunset dinner with spectacular sea views.
Ranzo Ionio in Tzamarelata offers homemade dishes prepared in a traditional wood burning stove, from its panoramic hillside location.
If you're searching for a more authentic village taverna experience, we always recommend The Stone House (To Petrino) in Antipata or Taverna Foki overlooking picturesque Foki Bay. Both are family-run, serve generous portions of traditional Greek dishes, and offer excellent value in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
